Puran Chand Arya, CRPF (Retd)

Puran Chand Arya is a seasoned professional with over 29 years of extensive experience in administration, policy planning, security, and welfare. A retired CRPF officer, he has served in various challenging roles, including field battalion operations in conflict zones and as Officer-in-Charge of the Resettlement and Welfare Directorate at the Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi.

He is the founder and chairman of the Ardh Sainik Welfare Trust, a pioneering initiative supporting paramilitary personnel and their families. He also established the Ardh Sainik Canteen, an innovative rehabilitation program offering affordable, high-quality consumer goods to serving and retired soldiers and their families. By creating a robust supply chain and ensuring accessibility, the initiative empowers paramilitary personnel while contributing to their financial well-being.

Mr. Arya’s expertise spans liaison with government authorities, policy drafting, grievance handling, and organizing large-scale welfare programs, including stress management and community-building initiatives. A recipient of the J&K Special Duty Medal and other commendations, he is recognized for his commitment to the welfare of the soldier community.

An MBA in HR, Mr. Arya combines his academic background with practical leadership to inspire transformative change in the lives of those who serve the nation.
